Drilling becomes a social activity for two to four players while fixing the essential knowledge in mind. One person can also drill alone with these games to prime him for playing with the group.
G-03 Sound and Phrase It Learning Game
The last phonogram game has the most phonograms, with 2 laminated boards. The 10 3/4 x 14 inch board is for the Basic Multi-Letter Phonograms. The 8 3/8 x 11 inch board is for the Advanced Phonograms. There are 6 sets of small game cards (1 ½ x 1 1/4 inches), three for each game. Instructions are included.
These two games, sold in one envelope, teach three important points for the Basic Multi-Letter and Advanced Phonograms: (1) How many sounds each phonogram makes, (2) whether it is voiced or unvoiced, and (3) the differentiating phrases. The phrases enable you to orally communicate precisely which phonogram is referred to for each of the Basic Multi-Letter and Advanced Phonograms. These phrases also differentiate them from the Alphabet Phonograms. Knowing these details greatly facilitates spelling. Each game may be played by itself, or both games may be played together for more challenge. The game is suitable for two to four players, but one person can drill on it alone, if desired. Much drill will make students proficient. A total of 69 phonograms are taught through these two games. This is a fun and challenging game!
