Manuscript Alphabet Sand Letter Cards

The student uses his index finger to trace over the sand to feel the letter as he says the sound(s). Teach him to follow the numerals and arrows for correct stroking. Manuscript letter cards are held vertically for the correct feel of manuscript. Pick up the finger only when indicated or imperative. Generally use continuous stroking. While tracing, the student must say all the sounds for each letter, which should have been already memorized.
